nothing like some fresh on point classic cheese. billy sounds sooo tight and much perkier than the later years. that jam into Whiskey Before Breakfast gives me goosebumps, Nersh candy fresh outta Telluride's best flat picker contest.

ahh yes. young and tight... basically, pre Club-Cheese! Not that I mind later Cheese, but I never got into the whole shiny pants and throwing glow stick thing. Great show... only 2 reviews?

Subject: Young & Tight
The band was certainly younger than the 2007 shows, and the music was tighter and faster. "Texas" is one example of a quickened beat, but the jam on that one is still sweet. Soundboard quality, hardly any crowd noise, a really clean, first-rate performance. Sounds especially good in the car CD or on the iPOD. Excellent sound, great lineup. It's the first show I've downloaded prior to 2003 shows. I had no idea what I was missing!
